The Roberts House Bed and Breakfast offers four distinctive guest rooms and a lovely common room for you to enjoy.
Our Accommodations:
The Roberts House offers four lovely guest rooms that provide sleeping accommodations for eleven adults and/or children over 12. All guest rooms have water views on Westport Mill Pond or Rideau Lake. Each guest room in the Roberts House is outfitted with ceiling fans, central air conditioning and hair dryers as well as wireless, Internet access.
Special amenities include fine, milled soaps; complimentary bottled water in your room; hair dryers; the use of luxurious spa robes, plush towels and fine linens; and bedtime chocolates.
Our common room is outfitted with reading material, games and information on area attractions, shops and restaurants. Our beverage room, located right off the common room, offers a refrigerator and microwave for our guests’ use. This room is stocked with complimentary after dinner drinks, coffee, teas, hot cocoa and light refreshments and is accessible 24 hours a day.
The grounds and patios of The Roberts House provide a delightful retreat during the warmer months, offering an opportunity to enjoy a game of croquet, read a book, or simply enjoy the day adjacent to the tranquil Westport Mill Pond, with wonderful views of Foley Mountain.
Our room rates are based on double occupancy, and include a full breakfast complimented with fresh fruit, juices, coffee, tea and fresh pastries from our kitchen.
All charges are subject to applicable taxes. Minimum stay requirements vary depending upon the season. From late June through early September, a two-night stay is requested over a weekend, although we can make exceptions depending upon availability. Shorter stays may be accommodated during the week.
Children over twelve are welcome, but must respect the intimate nature of a bed and breakfast. Pets cannot be accommodated.
We also offer whole house rental.
Whole house rentals also include our beautifully appointed sitting room, formal dining room, complete kitchen, laundry facilities, den and screened porch. Fine linen rental is optional. Please check with us for rates and availability.
Pricing:
Please call for pricing and availability. Weekend rentals are for Friday through Sunday, and week rentals are for Sunday through Sunday.
Reservations:
A 50% deposit on your stay is required to reserve a room or the whole house. The balance is due at check-in. Payment may be made by personal check, cash or traveler's check.
For whole house rentals, we will send you a lease and our terms and conditions which you can sign and return with your deposit. The balance is due two weeks prior to check-in. We will also require a security deposit at check-in for any damages that may occur during your visit.
Due to our intimate size, cancellations have a major effect on us. Last minute cancellations leave us little time to fill the space. Therefore, we will allow cancellations made two weeks prior to the reservation for room rental and one month prior to the reservation for whole house rental to be done without forfeiting the deposit. Deposits on cancellations closer to the reservation date will be refunded if we are able to rent the room or house. All cancellations are subject to a $50 service charge. All reservations are confirmed in writing once a deposit is received.
The Roberts House is open year round.
